Ryan House High Tea

As Catholic Education Week drew to a close, our Ryan House High Tea held highlighted our community as one of faith, hope and love.

As we gathered in the Mercy Centre, Student and staff volunteers shone serving our guests, and while cuppas were poured and friendships flowed, the Spirit was at work opening our hearts and minds to the goodness Mercy Works spreads in forgotten and vulnerable communities.

Our guest speaker, Sr Sally Bradley shared inspiring stories of Mercy Works’ collaborative projects with local communities in Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste and the Philippines uplifting lives especially those of women and children.

It was an honour to welcome into our midst again Sister Margaret Dixon, Sr Joanne Molloy, Mrs Claire Stitt, the Rockhampton Sisters of Mercy and Associates who model the life of Catherine McAuley in in their actions and words.

We’re grateful to the many Parents, past and present, and Friends, who supported the afternoon.  Your assistance means the world and will make a real impact.

Congratulations to the Major Prize winner and the Multi-Draw Raffle Winners.

Thank you to our generous Donors who made the afternoon such a great success:

Phelan Family Law, Michel’s Patisserie Allenstown, Kinsfolk Coffee, Skin Rejuvenation Clinic, Allenstown Square Meats, Mercy Associates, Pat McDevitt, Peter and Kathy Maloney, Julie Brown and Jenny Loescher.
