Body Kindness at TCC

Recently we gathered to celebrate being a Body Kind School, and together watched a video produced by our Media team to support the important message of Australia’s largest body positive movement for young people. The video featuring our College Counsellors and students, called for us to create a community which supports body confidence, kindness and the celebration of all the amazing things our bodies can do.

During Body Kind week we reflected on the challenges we’ve all faced. We learnt about shifting the focus from outside judgement or comparison to embrace what our bodies can do for us and the importance of showing respect and empathy to ourselves and others. To round out the week, Students and Staff basked in the sunshine on the oval at our Body Kind Picnic On The Lawn, which was a fun and delicious way to celebrate friendships and kindness.
