Resilience

Emotional resilience is our ability or capacity to adapt and recover when things become difficult or don't go as planned.  It is about our ability to accept circumstances and move on.

The Resilience Project's, Mr Martin Heppell, identified to the TCC community that if we show gratitude, mindfulness, and empathy, we allow ourselves to live a happier more resilient life.

The Cathedral College asks students, staff, and parents to practise these three values of having gratitude, being mindful and showing empathy.  Students are provided with opportunities to exercise, reflect and report on these taught values both at school and at home.  They are asked to practise them.
