NAPLAN Online update

Our students in Years 7 and 9 will be undertaking NAPLAN testing online in May this year for the first time. Moving NAPLAN online brings many advantages, including a test design that offers test items tailored to students’ knowledge and ability. Our testing period will run from Tuesday 14 May to Friday 17 May.

We will also be participating in a national practice test on Wednesday 3 April (Year 7 – Period 1 and Year 9 – Period 2). This is an excellent opportunity to fine tune any technical and logistical needs, as well as familiarise students and teachers with the online testing process. It is not an assessment of student ability and there will be no reporting of student results.

  • All students will need a charged laptop and headphones.
  • Year 7 – Period 1 and Year 9 Period 2 in Our Lady’s and HH1 and 2.

Parents and caregivers of students in these NAPLAN year levels will need to be aware of important information relating to privacy, which can be found on the NAPLAN Online Queensland website’s parent information page.

Parents, please contact Ms Karen Lester if you have any questions.  karen.lester@tccr.com.au
